About the Cover

Cover Figure

On the cover: Mouse omenta were stained as whole mounts using anti-B220 (blue), anti-CD31 (green), and anti-MECA-79 (red) Abs and analyzed using confocal microscopy. Vessels within milky spots show MECA-79 reactivity, which overlaps with MAdCAM-1 expression, enabling B cell entry into the omentum. Berberich, S., S. Dähne, A. Schippers, T. Peters, W. Muller, E. Kremmer, R. Förster, and O. Pabst. 2008. Differential molecular and anatomical basis for B cell migration into the peritoneal cavity and omental milky spots. J. Immunol. 180: 2196–2203.
